Bethel A.M.E Welcomes You

We welcome visitors and encourage you to join us at 246 South Main Street, Pennington, NJ 08534. Our building is Handicap Accessible. Parking is available on the street and in a lot across the street. We offer worship service and Sunday School each week on Sunday morning.

We are now offering "Children's Church" on Sunday morning to provide our youth with an interactive and relevant worship experience while the adults enjoy our regular worship experience. Wednesday evening is Bible study and every third Friday we host movie and game night! Please email for correct times.

Our Weekly Schedule
• Sundays 10am: Bible study, all ages - Adult, teen and children
• Sundays 10:15 am: Sunday school for children of all ages 5-12 years
• Sundays 11am: Morning Service and Children's church

Special Events

  • Sunday January 31: Bethel, First Baptist and Second Baptist Church will be sponsoring a joint worship Service at First Baptist Church Academy and Crawley Ave., 3pm. Rev. Malik McKinley pastor will be the designated preacher.
  • Sunday February 28th The concerned Metropolitan Women of Trenton are sponsoring a Fashion Show/Honoree Luncheon to benefit Bethel AME Church. The event will be held at the Princeton Manor in Hamilton NJ., Donation $50.00. For ticket information please call 609-920-3467.

    First District Bi-Centennial Dates
    Come celebrate the First District Bi-Centennial. The African Methodist Episcopal church is embarking upon its 200th year of Christian Service. In commemoration of this historic event, our 2016 General Conference will be held in Philadelphia Pa, (the birthplace of African Methodism). This is your opportunity to share in the clebration of this historic event.
